Okay this is bad, like very veryyy bad. I think i pulled my muscle a few days back at 1B/24’s chalet and now it is aching really badly, especially in the middle of the night when i wake up. The pain is nearly bearable a few days ago, but not quite so now. A few days ago i felt a lump (no, its no cancer) on the arm that’s hurting now, and to the present day its swelling up day by day. Sighs, all geared up for a hell of a time for the holidays and now this -_- LTC camp starting next week! On Wednesday for prep camp and all the way till don’t know when??? I wasn’t coherent when i just woke up and took Sihao’s call informing me for the camp. Blah blah, the prep camp date is same as the day the results are going to be released anyway.
I doubted anyone still remembered there are results to take now that everybody is busy with camp, work and stuff. Random. Toodles.
Time -definition. A non spatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.
Was browsing through the web just now when i searched for a definition of time out of boredom. I think first page that came up showed it pretty clearly, we can’t circumvent time, every second a part of us is moving to the past, another part moving to future and none of it stays in the present.
This must the aftereffects of the chalet. *bitch slap chongyan*
Okay okay. Snap out of it.
1B/24 peeps! if you want pictures from the chalet, pleaseeeee nudge me on MSN, I’m kinda lazy to look for all of your contacts there. Furthermore Amos, Adeline and Liyan had gotten the pictures already, so you could get it from them as well alrightey (:
LTC camp starting on 17th, looking forward to seeing alot of peeps I haven’t seen for ages! Till then i shall just continue Harry Potter .pdf files on my desktop!
Finally finished uploading all the pictures to WordPress after my late evening nap. 1B/24’s sleepover was really a blast! I didn’t expect much from the chalet when the peeps started organising it nearly one month back, but no regrets now (:
It was fun from the first day till the last, and with the company of Dean’s friends and last year’s PT George Teo coming over for a short visit yesterday. First night at Downtown was really a dampener though, the rain kept coming and we were forced to stay in the chalet without any outdoor activities for the rest of the evening. The rest of the peeps started playing Mahjong until dinner at 9.30, while i gathered a few other peeps and played PSP.
Went back to the chalet after dinner, built a tower out of Mahjong tiles with Jun Jie and Amos! And after midnight, Dean’s friends brought over some liquor from next door and started mixing with Sprites as mixers, some Red Wine and Vodka as liqueurs. Drank a few cups of red wine, though i was only intending to drink 1 only -_- And souped up a few cups of Vodka. My face got flushed red pretty badly but i didn’t get drunk.
I think Leonard got drunk instead. LOLOL.
Woke up to a pretty bad hangover in the morning, a very bad headache, with Winifred and Eileen’s incessant laughter in the background, and the sound of Mahjong tiles echoing through out the room. Went back to sleep all the way till 10 and everybody started to watch Kids Central.
“It’s time for a Shaolin Showdown!” LOLOLOL.
Afternoon was spent shopping at E-hub for the bbq food and equipment, and we ended up buying the marinating sauce and chicken wings separately and buying the tickets after splitting into two separate groups to watch 4bia and Death Race to occupy our time later in the evening.
Thawed and marinated the chicken wings with Dean after we got back to the chalet, following which i slept till 5pm while a few of the peeps went on to rent bikes to cycle around and the rest stayed back for a few Mahjong sessions. Started barbequeing as soon as i got up and went out to start the fire, taking turns with them to cook the food, and alternating between eating and cooking.
George Teo came over at around 8 plus playing Mahjong with Louis, Justin and a couple of peeps until we celebrated the September babies’ birthdays. Okay not babies, they’re all pretty old. HAHA.
4bia at E-hub in the midnight! And the whole show was damn hilarious. Okay, maybe it was only me. I was laughing at the parts that no one were laughing at throughout the show, and the only time i got a jolt was the first part when the face came out. Winifred’s attempt to scare me was a failure, i was laughing at the fourth story in the show, when the body slided all over the airplane. The third show got a pretty much developed story plot as compared to the rest, the first was draggy, the second looked like a story out from Final Destination, and not to mention the spirit looked like something that amateurs created at an animation lab. The fourth story was kinda predictable, and the rolling on the floor corpse was really comical.
The show ended at around 1.30am and we went on to Bedok in Dean’s car and his friend’s to play LAN at Crossfire till 3.30 in the morning. Everyone was asleep when we returned, and a couple of them stayed up for a few sessions at the tables, while i went back to sleep till today’s morning.
Parted way after breakfast at Kopitiam in the morning.
Woots. 1b/24! ((((((((:
Okay, i’m feeling tired now but i guess it won’t kill just to be back for one more entry before i head for the pillows. Module exams for this semester are finally over, a hugeeeeee sigh of relief. I really hope i won’t fail JAVA again for this semester, took a total of 4 programming modules as well as an informal test for ELIT this time around. All the modules had been pretty alright, but JAVA still remained elusive, my assignments are all handed up, done, score tabulated, but still a heavy 40% rested on the scoresheet. And i know i won’t perform well for the written exam.
One thing i really need to do after the exams is to have a haircut. There haven’t been time to do all these little things since the beginning of the end of the week. I’ve managed to cut down my reliance on audio devices to cut off the background noise now, and i realised now that what you learned while listening to music really goes away with it when the music ends. You ended up learning nothing at all. Okay, maybe it only goes for me.
Nice layout Serene! LOLOL.
Nooooooo! My PSP-2000 isn’t even a year old and they’re coming out with a new PSP. Apparently its worldwide release date is on Oct 15th, which is like only less than 2months away!
But there isn’t much new things to daydream over. Only “the screen has been improved, and features an anti-reflective coating, higher contrast and a wider color gamut.” according to blog.wired.com.
But this has to be on the top of my priority list for now, but until homebrew support had been released, i won’t do much about my less-than-a-year old PSP slim. And i need so many bloody things now, my hand-phone is being really quirky, my earpiece suck balls, i need a sub-woofer for my already upgraded desktop (thanks dad). Other than my desktop which is likely to survive another year with its Quadcore processor and the DirectX-10 supported Geforce 8600GT, the rest of the things are getting archaic.
And i’m left with only less than $75 for this month!
